This note explains what data this website collects and the cookies it uses. It covers the public site at sanmud.us only.

1. Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, approximate region, device type, referral source). This helps us improve the content and performance of the site. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> to distinguish visitors. IP addresses are anonymized by Google Analytics 4 by design.

We also count clicks on our email address and phone number, and which section of the page they were on — never what you write or say.

We do not run advertising or remarketing tags, and we do not sell personal data.

2. Your consent & choices

We use Google Consent Mode v2. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default until you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner, which we show when your device is set to a European time zone — before that, only anonymous, cookieless measurement pings are sent. Outside Europe, analytics is on by default and no banner is shown; you can turn it off at any time through Cookie settings (the button below, or the link at the foot of every other page on the site).

3. Information you send us

When you submit the quote form, our server emails the name, company (if you give one), email address, selected service, and project details you provide to our team at outsource@sanmud.us, so we can respond to your enquiry. The server also keeps a backup copy of each request, together with the sending IP address (to stop spam), for about 90 days, then deletes it. If the form cannot be sent, it opens your own email app with your details filled in instead, and nothing is sent until you press send there. This information is used only to reply to you and is not sold or shared for marketing. If analytics is allowed, we record only that an enquiry was sent and which service category was selected — never your name, email, or message.

4. Data retention & contact

Analytics data is retained per our Google Analytics configuration. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to serve the request and our records. Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for 14 days for security and troubleshooting, then deletes them.
